Contemporary Butterfly, Bird, and graffiti abstract art of Marilyn Monroe
I use a picture of Marilyn Monroe Wix from the famous Madame Tussauds in Hollywood that I took in June 2015 when my mom and I visited during our trip to LA for a close friend's wedding and business trip.
Process of the artwork: 1) Use the pen tool to cut out the figure out from the photo. I use the Adjustment Layers of Curves, Hue/Saturation, and Bright/Contrast to make the colors for the color range to insert textures. 2) I use the image postize and use an oil paint filter. After making the basic color and pop art filter format, then I use 8 different color ranges to fill up with abstract painting texture backgrounds by clipping mask onto the figure. For the rest of the artwork, I blended layers of various contemporary/street art/victorian style/ abstract Photoshop brushes and textures.
