Great Thinking Series
(“The Thinker” in Famous Cities in the U.S.)
I always admire the infamous sculpture “The Thinker” by Auguste Rodin. During my trip to San Francisco to attend my eldest cousin’s wedding in Sept 2017, I visited the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco where a copy of “The Thinker was exhibited at the entrance of the museum. While appreciating and taking photos of “The Thinker”, I was inspired with the idea of integrating “The Thinker” into my artworks. I then created the “Great Thinking Series” whereby I integrated “The Thinker” with famous landmarks of each major city. I want to pose an interesting question – What “The Thinker” is thinking of this city?
